Italy claims to acquire first COVID-19 vaccine

 While coronavirus vaccine news spread everywhere and many research groups are developing possible vaccines, Italian scientists have commanded to develop a vaccine that has successfully created antibodies in mice that work on human cells. The vaccine has experimented in the Spallanzani Hospital in Rome. It is declared to be one of the most advanced stages of testing of a possible vaccine in the country as the vaccine neutralizes the SARS-CoV-2 in the human cells.

  

          Later a single vaccination, the mice produced antibodies that can block the virus from infecting human cells. The researchers chose the two best candidates after observing that the five vaccine candidates produced a large number of antibodies.

 the previous day, Israeli Defence Minister Naftali Bennett declared the country had a remarkable discovery in the development of COVID-19 vaccine. He said that Israel's Institute for Biological Research (IIBR) has formed a monoclonal neutralising antibody, which will efficiently neutralise novel coronavirus in the body of the transmitters. Bennet said that Italian researchers have made a ‘significant invention’ in developing an antibody to combat novel coronavirus. He was quoted as saying, “I am proud of the institute staff for this terrific breakthrough.” 

​The Oxford vaccine for COVID-19

Oxford University launched a phase-1 human clinical test of its vaccine around April 23, where two volunteers were vaccinated and Elisa Granato is one of the first ones to go injected with the vaccine.

     The vaccine -ChAdOx1 nCoV-19- was generated under three months by the University’s Jenner Institute. It uses a weak strain of common cold virus (adenovirus) that causes diseases in chimpanzees. During the vaccine to work, scientists have taken the biogenetic material of the novel coronavirus already on the surface of the virus and settled it in the virus.

 Prime Minister Narendra Modi evaluated India’s status in producing a vaccine for the novel coronavirus, medication discovery, diagnosis, and testing on Tuesday. It was determined that as of now more than 30 vaccines are in various stages of progress while a few are able to go to clinical trial stages. It is also essential to note that the Pune-based Serum Institute of India is the world’s largest vaccine producer and India produces 60 per cent of the world’s vaccines.

No pharmaceutical products have further been shown to be safe and effective for the treatment of COVID-19. But, a number of medicines have been recommended as potential investigational treatments, many of which are now happening or will soon be examined in clinical tests, including the SOLIDARITY trial co-sponsored by WHO and co-operating countries.
