•  In this Noxious time when CORONAVIRUS Threatening us day by day, a piece of Hilarious news comes about OZONE Layer. Here, Scientists have revealed that the HOLE observed in the ozone layer above the Arctic region from last month has healed itself, Due to low temperature above the arctic atmosphere. A discovery was made by the Copernicus that the hole had closed itself. As per the Scientists, this did not happen due to the low pollution levels owing to the Coronavirus associated imposed lockdown across the Globe.  

• The first time the Hole observed by the Copernicus Atmosphere Monitoring Service (CAMS) at back 2011 in the time of Spring.

Ozone Layer

• 
  The ozone layer or ozone shield is a region of earth’s stratosphere that absorbs most of the Sun’s Ultraviolet radiation. It contains a high concentration of Ozone in relation to other parts of the atmosphere, even though still small in relation to other gases in the stratosphere.  
  

•  The ozone layer is mainly found in the lower portion of the Stratosphere, from approximately 15 to 35 km above the earth, even though its Density varies seasonally and geographically. The ozone layer was discovered in 1913 by the French physicists Charles Fabry  and Henri Buisson.

• The ozone layer absorbs 97 to 99 per cent of the sun’s medium-frequency Ultraviolet light ( nearby about 200 nm to 315 nm wavelength), which is so harmful to humans as well as all living organisms of the surface of the earth. We know it causes immune system suppression, genetic damage and skin cancer in humans and other ecological problems, It may nearly Eradicate the life of the surface.

Depletion of the ozone layer

• In 1976, atmospheric research revealed that the ozone layer was being depleted by chemicals released by industry, mainly chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs). The ozone layer also depleted by free radical catalysts, including nitric oxide (NO), nitrous oxide (N2O) and atomic chlorine (Cl) etc.

Rising pollution day by day and some toxic gases are the main cause of depletion of our ozone layer.

Role of Coronavirus

• As we know coronavirus is a bad disaster for humans but this is a medicament for our beautiful nature. We all know where and when this virus born.

• Due to lockdown in the whole world there is no pollution left in the environment and this is the great relief for nature, I’m not talking here only ozone even rivers are so cleaned, air pollution reduced, noise pollution reduced and so on. This nature gives us lots of precious things even life too but in return we all give it only pollution, and many toxic things. I’m not here supporting coronavirus but my friends if nature gives us priceless life then who knows when and where it will take back this life if we will not polite and humble with it. So at last, the only request to all learn from the current recitation (warning) who knows this is first or last.
