Without a friend, there is no world. friend, a very small word but its impact like a blast in any person's life. we all have a kind of funny, dumb and badass friend, that friend changes every moment of our life, no matter we are sad or in a bad mood because he/she has only power to trigger it in a very fascinating moment. so, this is the world friendship day, blast wherever you want with your dumb*** friend( whichever category you paste him/she).

World Friendship Day, also known as International Day of Friendship or international friendship day celebrates every year in 30th July since 1958. It was first proposed in 1958 in Paraguay as the "International Friendship Day". In 2011, the United Nations General Assembly (UN) proposed officially 30th July as world friendship day all over the world.

On the International Day of Friendship, the United Nations encourages governments and organisations around the world to hold events and activities that "promote dialogue among civilizations, solidarity, mutual understanding and reconciliation".

According to UN website, "The International Day of Friendship is an initiative that follows on the proposal made by UNESCO defining the Culture of Peace as a set of values, attitudes and behaviours that reject violence and endeavour to prevent conflicts by addressing their root causes with a view to solving problems. It was then adopted by the UN General Assembly in 1997."

friendship day occurs on different dates worldwide. like in India it occurs on the first Sunday of August and this time it falls on 2nd august of the month. likewise in Nepal, it was observed on 30th July every year and so on, in more countries.

the world friendship day is actually something to celebrate. The variety of cultures global means that no one will celebrate this day the same, and that’s a marvellous event. The power of friendship is an international one that reaches out to all corners and cultures of the world.

the celebration is very deservedly wording on this fantastic day. we know most of the people living such a busy life, however, not everyone can plan a big day out for each other. But that’s what makes Friendship Day such a wonderful occasion. Best friends understand that life often gets in the way, so they won’t be disappointed if there’s no colossal celebration in their honour.

There are no fix rules on how to celebrate Friendship Day. The beauty of all friendships, Is that makes you any worse moment a great and charming. This world friendship day gives you and your best buddies a blank slate to do whatever you want to do, within reason, of course, and celebrate it however you see fit, and how to honour the memories you have made together. making a trip with your friend is one of the most beautiful ways to glorify your friendship.

According to Wikipedia, Friendship Day was originated by Joyce Hall, the founder of Hallmark cards in 1930, intended to be 2 August and a day when people celebrated their friendships by holiday celebrations. Friendship Day was promoted by the greeting card National Association during the 1920s but met with consumer resistance – given that it was too obviously a commercial gimmick to promote greetings cards. In the 1940s the number of Friendship Day cards available in the U.S. by had dwindled and the holiday largely died out there. There is no evidence to date for its uptake in Europe; however, it has been kept alive and revitalised in Asia, where several countries have adopted it.

According to Wikipedia, The idea of a World Friendship Day was first proposed on 20 July 1958 by Dr Ramon Artemio Bracho during a dinner with friends in Puerto Pinasco, a town on the River Paraguay about 200 miles north of Asuncion, Paraguay.
