"Raksha Bandhan 2020" also "RakshaBandhan" or "Rakhi" is a Hindu festival that celebrates the relationship between brothers and sisters, and families, on the full moon of the Hindu month of Shravana, called Shravan Poornima also, it usually falls around the last month of July or starting month of August. Raksha Bandhan is the purest festival who strengthen the bond between brother and sister.
In Indian mythology, according to lunisolar calendrer. Rakshabandhan or Rakhi falls on a full moon day in the month of Shravana (August). this holly day considered to as a very purest auspicious day in India. this beautiful festival not only celebrated in India but also on Nepal and other countries, who follows Hindu tradition.

On this day, they started sowing wheat and pray to god for good crops and in the costal-regions of India this day is celebrated as "Narayali Purnima". The day is devoted to the God Indra (God of rain), and the God Varuna (God of the sea).

Raksha Bandhan has a deep-rooted historical significance. There are many legends linked with the past of the Hindu religion. According to the Hindu mythology, it is considered that on every Shravana Purnima day the deity Yamuna used to tie a sacred thread on Yama's (God of death) wrist. Yama was so impressed and touched by the peace of this custom that he declared, whoever got a rakhi tied from his sister would become immortal. From that day the traditional has been performed by the people.
As most Hindu rituals and history of mythology. During the events of the Mahabharat, legend dictates that when Lord Krishna accidentally cut his finger by his ‘Sudarshan Chakra’ during the war with king Shishupal. Princess Draupadi tore a piece of her saree and tied it to his finger to stop the bleeding. Lord Krishna was so touched by this sign that he vowed to always protect and honour her.
According to a very famous legend, Alexander’s wife Roxana despatched a rakhi for King Porus and requested him to spare Alexander’s life in return. King Porus promised her that if he ever comes head to head with Alexander within the battle, he would stroll away without harming him (Alexandra).
.The legend of great and mighty king Bali and the deity Laxmi (Goddess of wealth) is also a very popular one from the stories.
A very famous story according to recent History the Rani Karnavati and Emperor Humayun is the most notable evidence in history related to this beautiful festival. Rani Karnavati, a widowed queen of the king Chittor sent a rakhi to Emperor Humayun with a request to save her dignity. The Emperor Humayun touched by the gesture and started with his large and powerful troops without wasting any time to save her honour but before he reached there, rani completed "Johor" and sacrificed her life.
